ISAAC Interest group in Complex Analysis

ISAAC Interest group in Complex Analysis

Main goals of the interest group:

A special ISAAC Interest group in Complex Analysis consists of ISAAC members (and participants of the ISAAC Congresses) whose research activity is focused on the Complex-Analytic Methods and their Applications. The main goal of this interest group is to support activities in the area of Complex Analysis within the ISAAC community, to promote and develop scientific exchange among different directions of the Theory of Complex Analysis and its Applications, different national and international groups whose main research topics have connections with complex analysis. Special interest group on Complex Analysis supports as research in classical areas of complex analysis, such as boundary value problem for complex differential equations, boundary behavior of analytic and generalized analytic functions, conformal mappings, special functions in complex domains, entire and meromorphic functions, integral equations, as well as the modern directions in one- and several-dimensional complex analysis. The interest group on Complex Analysis paid the main attention to analytic-type results in complex analysis, especially those which have applications in Mathematical Physics, Mechanics, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Economics etc. Applications in Fluid Dynamics, Composite Materials, Porous Media, Elasticity, Visco-Elasticity, Hydro-, Aero- and Thermo-Dynamics are the most considered. The interest group on Complex Analysis is interested in the interaction with other ISAAC interest group, namely, the interest group on Partial Differential Equations, the interest group on Integral Transforms and thier Applications.

New members:

Membership in ISAAC Interest Group in Complex Analysis is open to all ISAAC members and potential ISAAC members.

Scientific Activity:

The interest group in Complex Analysis will organize at least one special session on Complex Analysis at every ISAAC Congress, as well as the conferences on special topic of complex-analytic theory and its application between Congresses, and also schools for masters and PhD-students. We will organize an exchange on the recent research information on different topics related to the goals of the interest group.
