A letter of intents:
Personally, I believe a board member should pursue the aims of the Society and in particular promote ISAAC and ISAAC membership.
At the moment ISAAC has members from a large number of countries of the world and I believe it can remain attractive to a large community only if it remains an equal opportunity for all members regardless of the economical status of their country of origin.
In particular, I believe all activities including the ISAAC congress should be organized with the clear purpose that at least the members of the Society should have a chance to participate regardless of the economical status of their country of origin.
Also, I share the view that we should promote excellence in Mathematics and make an effort to raise funds for the Society to be able to invite high quality scientists and give out awards on the basis of excellence in Mathematics. Once more however, I would stand for having the benefits of such effort shared by everybody, regardless of the economical status of their country of origin.
A message for voters: I would accept to become Vice - President, but I believe there are a few senior members who should be elected first. In particular, I support the election of Prof. Victor I. Burenkov.
